Store Clerk – Grocery Stocking & Cashier Duties | Snow’s Family Market | Mercer, WI

Snow’s Family Market, a family-owned grocery store in Mercer, WI with over 30 years in the community, is hiring a dependable Store Clerk to join our team. This role includes a mix of stocking, cashiering, and customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Stock shelves and rotate grocery products
  • Work backstock inventory and replenish sales floor items
  • Face shelves to maintain a clean, organized store appearance
  • Assist customers with locating items and providing friendly service
  • Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
  • Receive and unload deliveries
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store
  • Support team members and assist with other duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred (not required)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and strong work ethic
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed
  • Team-oriented and dependable attitude

Full Time Pay & Benefits

Pay: $14-$16 per hour depending on experience

  • $300 sign-on bonus after 90-day probation (performance-based)
  • +$2.00/hr Sunday premium pay
  • +$2.00/hr holiday pay
  • Paid time off: 5 PTO days in first year (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving)
  • 1 week paid vacation after 1 year (full-time employees)
  • Supplemental benefit plan options available
